The coating thickness ranges from one to three microns and delivers water repellency measured at 118 degrees using a 20 microlitre droplet on glass. Buff off should be completed within two minutes, with shorter times recommended in warmer temperatures. Initial curing can be achieved in two hours using IR heat treatment or within two to five hours at room temperature, with a full cure reached after twenty four hours when no heat is applied. The coating achieves an SGS certified 10H hardness rating.
