Magnum SilQ Gloss Matrix is the most advanced coating in the Magnum lineup. Built on a amorphous boron infused polysilazane glass resin, it delivers the highest hydrophobics and the slickest surface feel of any Magnum coating. Developed for detailers who want the ultimate finish, SilQ transforms factory paintwork with deep, glass like clarity and wet look gloss backed by up to eight years of protection.

SilQ forms a semi permanent bond with factory paint that cannot be washed away or broken down by aggressive cleaning chemicals. As the polysilazane resin cures, it converts into a dense glass matrix that locks onto the surface at a molecular level. Amorphous boron is integrated throughout this matrix, increasing crosslink density to create a tighter, harder and more chemically resistant layer than conventional silica coatings.

That boron reinforced structure is what gives SilQ its signature slickness. The ultra smooth surface energy causes water to bead tightly and sheet off at the slightest angle, delivering the most aggressive water behaviour in the Magnum range. Contaminants, road grime and bird droppings struggle to grip, making washing faster and keeping the vehicle cleaner for longer. The hardened glass layer resists light scratches, swirl marks, chemical etching and everyday wear while holding gloss and clarity year after year.

SilQ has been designed for professional installers without adding complexity. The formula levels smoothly across paint, paint protection film, vinyl, chrome, aluminium and plastic trim. Additional layers can be applied after 30 minutes, keeping workflow efficient and vehicle throughput high.

Flash times of 1-2 minutes give ample working time for even coverage. A clear visual flash guides the installer through application, reducing the risk of high spots and missed areas.
